beej just made a great point
that i completely overlooked.
amidst our discussion on the back porch about gay rights and the like, the fact that people wear “conservative? fine by me” shirts around campus is absolutely stunning. openly mocking the “gay? fine by me” statement, campus conservatives are equating their “struggle” to that of being gay.

Remember that one kid who was tied to a fence post and beaten to death for being conservative? Neither do I.
