Marshall and I tried to pass out food to homeless...
It failed pretty hilariously. Then we went to see 127 Hours. That was intense.

My Grandma turned 90 two days ago.
We threw her a surprise party today and we didn’t surprise her so much that she had some sort of heart attack. Two things made me really think.
1) My family says that I lost weight, and that I seem very happy. They also were impressed with the fact that I found work in a city that I was pretty unfamiliar with. I do have to hand that to my wonderful friends who called in favors to get me...

Bomb the Music Industry!: GREAT PUNKNEWS COMMENTS. →
… … … …
There’s not a whole lot to say about this. Why does every decent band seem to break up before they are appreciated? Why did Against Me sign to a major? Why does the formerly punk rock Warped Tour seem to possess mostly teen-pop sensations doing straight forward covers of Taylor…

– Terry Savage
Something about capitalism has always bothered me. I could never really explain why it made me feel uneasy. This is fun because Terry Savage single-handedly explained my anxiety. It is unending, and all that is involved is consuming. Why do you work? So you can make money. Why do...
I have another blog.

These guys really blew me away at the show tonight. Also, I had no idea that they were on Joyful Noise Records. Pretty cool. Oh yeah, some other dumb bands called something like the Gist of Assless Chaps and Sign on for West played. God I’m good.

just discovered the ‘render perfect’ option in C4D polygon modeling. low poly counts, still render as perfect objects. holy shit.
I don’t know what this means, but I’m stoked that you’re stoked.

amidst our discussion on the back porch about gay rights and the like, the fact that people wear “conservative? fine by me” shirts around campus is absolutely stunning. openly mocking the “gay? fine by me” statement, campus conservatives are equating their “struggle” to that of being gay.

Basically Palin said a bunch of really dumb shit, and the tea party members are dumb enough to have enjoyed it. Then she talked about how elitism was bad. Then she most likely said something that is laughable to anyone with any kind of common sense, but people will still think that she is awesome.
This is absolutely disgusting. →
If you want to hear about stupid people doing really ignorant, hateful things, then click on this link. (It’s all about the threats and acts of violence that many members of congress have had to endure after the passage of the health care bill.)
The best part is that the Republicans and Democrats have already turned it into a partisan issue.
Publication
Sent out my first applications for publication to a bunch of online journals today. I feel very proactive right now, even though I will most likely be rejected.

side note: we were picked up by a car with three girls in it. first thing they said: “you guys smell like a bar”

“If Speaker Pelosi believed there was ample support for the Senate legislation, then she would bring it to the floor of the House for a ‘yea’ or ‘nay’ vote,” House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, R-Virginia, said Monday. ”Instead, Americans are watching what happens when it becomes necessary to push political kickbacks and bend the rules so perversely to give...
